Position: Field Engineers -I&C

Work Experience 2 to 5 Years

Location: Aurangabad, Pune Kolhapur, and Nagpur

Key Responsibilities:

1. Integration Planning: Collaborate with project managers and network engineers to develop integration plans and strategies for OEM BTS equipment deployment.
2. BTS Installation: Oversee the physical installation of BTS equipment at designated sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
3. Configuration and Testing: Configure BTS equipment according to project specifications, including parameter settings, software upgrades, and hardware configurations. Conduct comprehensive testing to verify equipment functionality and performance.
4. Network Integration: Integrate BTS equipment into existing telecommunications networks, ensuring interoperability with other network elements such as base stations, switches, and routers.
5. Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot integration issues, network alarms, and performance degradation, implementing corrective actions to resolve issues promptly.
6. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of BTS integration and commissioning activities, including configuration settings, test results, and troubleshooting procedures.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network planning, operations, and maintenance teams, to coordinate integration activities and ensure project success.
8. Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the integration and commissioning process, striving for excellence in network performance and reliability.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma/bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in BTS integration and commissioning, preferably with Tejas Networks equipment.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications network architecture, protocols, and standards (e.g., GSM, CDMA, LTE)
• Hands-on experience with BTS installation, configuration, and testing procedures.

• Proficiency in network troubleshooting and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize workload effectively.
