Job Overview

At least 2-4 years of Experience working with large-scale IP/MPLS Network and NOC operation. Candidate must possess a high-level of technical expertise, have strong organizational skills and be able to learn and define technical processes and procedures. Candidate must be able to plan, provide analysis, design and troubleshoot technical solutions.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Coordination with OEM, Deployment and planning team and Handle the mail queries and respond/resolve.
• MOP Preparation, Validation, Change Activity for Network Improvement.
• Execution of Change Activity as per MOP and support to L1 Engineers during activity including rollback as well for basic network/process queries.
• Coordination with Customer for activity rollback if any deviations in network.
• PRE-POST activity logs compare and do analysis if any deviations.
• Reach out to TL /RM in case any deviations during any Change process/activity until successful closure.
• Troubleshoot issue during activity and coordinate with TAC/OEM for RCA conclusion.
• E2E ownership to assigned TASK until completion.
• Daily / Weekly MIS reporting and analysis.

 

Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of Telecom/Enterprise service running on IP MPLS service provider network.
• Candidate must have strong knowledge & working experience with complete Nokia (7750, 7705 and 7710), Cisco {ASR9K, 903, 920}, Huawei Router, Juniper (m320, MX960, mx2020) network product lines and technologies.
• In-depth understanding and Hands on experience with ISIS, BGP, BGP LU, L2/L3VPN, LDP, EVPN, RSVP-TE, FRR, Segment Routing. Troubleshooting on complex MP-BGP services.
• In-depth knowledge of BRAS protocols and technologies, including PPPoE, IPoE, DHCP, AAA.
• Internet / ISP related issues Like (Packet drop / Latency)
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting on complex L3 VPN services, L2 VPN domain.
• Good communication skill and customer centric approach.
• Hands-on experience on handling tools like BMC Remedy, ECRM, Net-cool, MRTG and Wireshark, EPNM, NMS Tools (Preferred).
• Able to Configure and Trace the L2VPN service end to end.

 

Qualifications

• B.Tech any stream
• Active CCIE/CCNP/CCNA in Routing and Switching is *strongly* preferred
