Description:

1.1 Work Scope

Hardware installation: All support works are to meet laboratory's testing needs, equipment installation standards and test line environment.

1. Equipment installation and movement, average 15000 items/ year, in 2000 racks in labs

• Receive tasks via JIRA ticket, confirm request with users;
• Pick up requested equipment from storage rooms; request in system and pick up consumable materials;
• Carry equipment and materials to lab areas; upload equipment to requested chassis in rack; secure equipment in chassis with screws;
• Rack alignment and plate fixing to be done
• Connect equipment with cables, average 07 cables connectivity to each equipment
• Confirm the installation is according to installation standard of different type of rack or products
• Verify connectivity and confirm the completion of the task in JIRA ticket, inform users about the progress of the tasks;
• Long Cable laying from Lab to Lab on cable tray /fall ceiling
• Update equipment status and location information in ONELAB system.

1. Equipment uninstallation and return to inventory, average 10000 items/ year

• Receive tasks via JIRA ticket;
• Disconnect cables from the equipment, disconnect equipment from other equipment in racks, pull equipment from racks;
• Carry equipment to storage rooms;
• Update equipment status and location information in onelab system.
• Disconnected cables to be removed from cable trays/racks and to be handed over to Store room.  

1. Inspection and report of lab environment, total 20 Labs areas in 02 Buildings

• Weekly inspections and report in all lab areas on safety temperature, humidity, noise and radiation
• Lab cleanness to be maintained by removing unwanted connections/materials as and when required
• Keep a record and report abnormal issues;
• Track and follow up correction actions on abnormal issues.

• LAN Interconnect Cables / Fibre Optic Interconnect Cables with proper dressing & labelling
• GPS Installation and connectivity
• LAN cable crimping
• Equipment & connectors Soldering
• Network switch installation and configuration
• Documentation of BTS/Servers/Switches Port details
