1 | Page Job Description Samsung India Electronics is looking for Technical Subject Matter Expert & Writer (Telecom Domain) to work with Samsung global customers and the R&D team for GSC documentation Team. It is an opportunity to work with international customers/operators, interact with Samsung Korea HQ, and have a first-hand view of new products. Department: GSC Documentation Team Position: Technical SME and Writer (Telecom Domain) No of Positions: one Work Type: Full Time Job Type: Off Roll Experience: 5 to 10 years Location: Navi Mumbai (Vashi) Notice Period: Immediate Joiners or up to 30 Days. Education: B.Tech/B.E (Electronics & Communication), 10th & 12th std. all with 65% & above. Eligibility: All Academics throughout English medium. Key Responsibilities: ▪ Review documents that explain the Company’s Products to its customers & internal audience. ▪ Develop and maintain high-quality documentation for developed Hardware & SW to meet industry quality standards, usability, and format using writing expertise and product knowledge. ▪ Collaborating with various teams to ensure consistent, seamless, and integrated documentation that is to be used for internal and external customers. ▪ One should have to undergo the Company’s Mandatory Training on 4G/5G Network & continuous self-learning is a part of competency development. ▪ Research, write, and update new and existing technical documents assigned. ▪ English language & Technical contents Review, correct & give suggestions for improvement. ▪ Work on editorial and formatting review of technical documents. ▪ Independently work on documents such as product specification, installation/operation/troubleshooting/maintenance manuals, Feature/Counter/Parameter descriptions etc. ▪ Write clear and concise technical documentation for complex topics. ▪ Communicate with HQ and the R&D team for Review, Content updates, improvement, Queries, and Follow-ups to meet the timeline. Qualification & skills: 2 | Page ▪ Must have 5 to 8 years of work experience with Telecom Network (4G/5G) Deployment/Integration/operation/maintenance/Monitoring/RF optimization/Planning/Core, and so on. ▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English ▪ Must have done all Academics throughout English medium ▪ Understanding of 4G/5G Technology basics, Network architecture, Call flows, KPIs, messages, and Operations will be preferred. ▪ Experience with the Samsung system will be considered first. ▪ Knowledge of Technical Writing & Publishing Tools will be an added advantage: Advanced Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, Grammarly. ▪ Familiar with running VBA macros. ▪ Excellent teamwork skills, ability to work under pressure ▪ Experience in creating technical illustrations and flowcharts ▪ Willing to learn new technologies and knowledge sharing with team members ▪ Familiar with telecom infrastructure terminology ▪ Good team player with a good attitude, analytical capabilities, and interpersonal & problem solving skills. ▪ Ability to drive necessary processes & standards to manage and produce quality documentation.
