Role Overview:
We are looking for a Data Analyst with a strong background in finance domain analytics to join the Shared Services Division. The selected candidate will support the entire group’s financial operations by analyzing data, identifying trends, and delivering actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the FP&A, accounting, and business teams to gather and analyze financial and operational data.
Work on data lakes to source and process structured/unstructured financial data.
Build dashboards, reports, and predictive models to support business decision-making.
Use Python to create analytics tools, automate processes, and uncover hidden trends.
Identify data inconsistencies, recommend improvements, and ensure high data integrity.
Provide insights into patterns, variances, cost drivers, and performance metrics.
Work closely with the Head of Finance Shared Services for project reporting and strategic planning.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
4–6 years of experience in Data Analytics with a focus on financial data
Strong expertise in Python and working with Data Lakes
Solid understanding of finance processes, KPIs, and variance analysis
Ability to deliver predictive and prescriptive insights from large datasets
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive attitude
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Education: Graduate or Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, or related field
