Position Details: 3DBIM engineer

Description:

Responsibilities:

• 3DBIM Drawing Services:
• 24x5 design and other work to develop 3DBIM drawings.
• Knowledge of RAN sites, Antenna carrying structures, Telecom equipment, Antennas, cabinets, electrical, HVAV and other assets used in RAN sites.
• To design and develop 3DBIM drawings for construction, modification, equipment installations & As-Built.
• To participate in Design Validation meetings.
• Incorporate Site specific changes, substitutions, exceptions and redlines.
• Plan and make design review comments.
• Detailed validation and rectification.
• In-depth knowledge of the 3DBIM process and tools, expertise in Revit and associated Autodesk tools for coordination, reporting and management. Knowledge of related software not limited to: Autocad, PDF editor, Visio.
• Ability to do Multi-Task.

• MODELLING:
• Create detailed 3D models of Communication sites in architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) using Autodesk Revit software.
• Convert point cloud data obtained from scanning into accurate 3D Revit models, ensuring the integration of existing conditions into the design accurately.
• Address technical challenges related to Revit modeling, finding practical solutions to ensure the successful progression of the project.
• Convert 2D/3D CAD drawings, existing documents/drawings and/or photos into 3DBIM models, ensuring accurate representation and seamless integration of existing CAD/document data into the BIM environment.

• FAMILY & PARAMETERS:
• Expertise in creating families in architectural, structural and MEP environment.
• Knowledge and expertise of creating massing, adaptive, annotative, group and nested families.
• Knowledge of parameter types and conditions of their use, able to manage shared parameters for a particular project.
• Able to create/modify parametric families and components, ensuring consistency and adherence to project standards and guidelines.

• DOCUMENTATION & QUALITY CONTROL:
• Knowledge of creating project specific templates conforming to project given standards and guidelines.
• Maintain organized records of 3DBIM models, revisions, and project-related communications, ensuring easy access to project information.
• Coordinate 3DBIM models with other disciplines, resolving clashes and discrepancies to create a clash-free and well-coordinated BIM model.
• Manage revisions and updates to 3DBIM models based on design changes, ensuring that all project stakeholders are working with the most current information.
• Perform regular quality checks on 3DBIM models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

• COMMUNICATION & TEAM-WORK:
• Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and ideas related to 3DBIM modeling to diverse stakeholders, facilitating clear understanding and informed decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop accurate and coordinated 3DBIM models that encompass various aspects of a construction project.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment, actively participating in meetings, design reviews, and coordination efforts to contribute expertise and insights.
• Manage multiple modeling tasks and deadlines efficiently, prioritizing work to meet project milestones and deliverables.
• Provide training and support to team members on 3DBIM software usage and best practices, promoting a proficient and skilled workforce.

• Additional requirements:
• Engineers to be located in GSD SE CoE Noida center, India or Service provider premise according to project and locational national compliance delivery model.
• Excellent Oral and Written English communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• End User Customer acceptance support for all Structural and Architectural design work.
• Nokia Vendor telecom products & connectivity/plumbing Knowledge.
• Knowledge of 3DBIM software other than Autodesk and Autocad.
