JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Service Engineer to be deployed as an implant at the customer location. The role involves end-to-end ownership of service delivery, technical support, and coordination for sales-related activities within the Fixed Line Data (FLD) business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) for all service and support-related activities at the customer site
- Provide on-site coordination for Fixed Line Data services (Internet Leased Line, MPLS, etc.)
- Ensure timely incident management, First level troubleshooting, and resolution as per SLAs
- Coordinate with internal teams (NOC, backend support, customer and field teams) for issue resolution
- Monitor network performance and ensure service uptime and quality delivery
- Support sales teams in customer engagement, requirement gathering, and solution discussions
- Assist in service provisioning, testing, and handover to the customer
- Maintain proper documentation of tickets, service reports, and customer interactions
- Drive customer satisfaction by proactive communication and regular updates
- Ensure adherence to deliverables and contractual commitments
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of:
- Basic understanding of routers, modems, and last-mile connectivity
- Good understanding of incident and service management processes
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills
- Basic MS Excel skills
- Ability to work independently at customer location
Preferred Skills:
- Basic exposure to sales coordination or customer relationship management
- Coordination involving delivery of new business links.
- Networking concepts knowledge is an advantage.
