Description:
Job Title: CMM Operator
Department: Quality
Location: Chakan, Pune
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CMM equipment for dimensional inspection of machined parts and final assemblies.
- Perform in‑process and final inspections using CMM.
- Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles accurately.
- Prepare and execute inspection programs using ZEISS CALYPSO software.
- Verify and document measurements against specifications and maintain inspection records.
- Maintain calibration and cleanliness of CMM machines.
- Generate inspection reports and communicate results to relevant teams.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the Quality Department.
- At least 6 months of hands‑on experience with ZEISS CALYPSO software.
- Strong knowledge of GDO&T and metrology principles.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with machining processes and tolerances.
