Job Description
Position: Engineer (On Third-Party Role)
Department: TEF
Location: RBIC – Manesar
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for handling plant TEF activities
- Conduct regular inspections and perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems (wiring, lighting, control systems) to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices; repair or replace faulty equipment, wiring, or components
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for execution of tasks
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations
- Perform root cause analysis (5 Why) for major breakdowns and work on reducing MTTR and improving MTBF
- Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and cross-functional teams to improve system performance and handle emergency situations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs
- Provide training and guidance to associates
Additional Responsibilities:
- Execute machine improvement initiatives
- Ensure effective communication and time management
- Maintain minimum and maximum levels of machinery spares and consumables
Qualifications:
- Diploma / BE in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance
Required Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of PLC programming
- Hands-on experience in electrical systems, wiring, and components
- Proficiency in diagnostic and testing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of SAP in the relevant area
