Job Summary

Network Delivery & Backhaul Operations Experts to lead the end-to-end technical design, optimization, and governance of fiber, eDMR, and backhaul networks for new and existing sites. The scope defining scalable solutions, validating complex designs, driving technical decisions, and ensuring high-quality, future-ready network deployments aligned with capacity, latency, and reliability requirements.

🔷 Key Responsibilities

Fiber Delivery – New Sites & Special Events

• Review site and land plans and define optimal backhaul architecture (ring, mesh, protection schemes)
• Provide technical guidelines for fiber design, including redundancy, diversity, and capacity planning
• Validate and challenge vendor proposals, BoQs, and technical solutions
• Drive end-to-end fiber design governance, ensuring compliance with transport standards
• Evaluate and approve high-quality As-Built documentation with focus on scalability and resilience
• Lead root cause analysis and technical resolution of complex fiber faults and performance issues

eDMR Delivery – New Sites, Special Events & RCG

• Review site and land plans and validate advanced link budget calculations (availability, fade margin, throughput)
• Define and approve microwave design standards, including modulation schemes, frequency planning, and interference mitigation
• Review and optimize LOS, RF reports, and spectrum utilization strategies
• Provide technical authority on:
  • High-capacity microwave (E-band, XPIC)
  • Spectrum efficiency and reuse
• Govern end-to-end microwave deployment ensuring performance and regulatory compliance
• Review and approve complex design deviations and As-Built variations
• Lead troubleshooting of critical and recurring microwave performance issues

Backhaul Upgradation / Router Swap (Existing Sites)

• Analyze existing network topology and define upgrade strategies based on traffic growth and congestion trends
• Design and validate scalable backhaul solutions (capacity expansion, redundancy, resiliency improvements)
• Provide technical leadership for:
  • Router swaps
  • Backhaul modernization
• Ensure upgrades meet latency, throughput, and availability KPIs
• Review and approve As-Built documentation with focus on future scalability and integration readiness
• Lead resolution of complex network performance and integration issues

🔷 Key Skills & Competencies

• Deep understanding of:
  • Fiber transport networks (ring/mesh design, protection schemes)
  • Microwave technologies (link budget, LOS, interference, high-capacity radios)
  • Backhaul architecture for 4G/5G (latency, synchronization, capacity planning)
• Ability to validate and optimize complex network designs and vendor solutions
• Strong expertise in:
  • RF planning and spectrum efficiency
  • Network resilience and redundancy design
• Hands-on experience in advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Strong technical communication for cross-functional alignment and decision-making

🔷 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field
• 8–15+ years of experience in backhaul delivery, transport network design, or telecom operations
• Proven experience in:
  • Complex network design validation
  • Multi-vendor environments
