Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Cisco ISE Support Engineer to manage, troubleshoot, and maintain Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) environments. The role involves handling complex incidents, security policy management, certificate administration, upgrades, and coordination with Cisco TAC.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support Cisco ISE operations and deployments.
- Configure and troubleshoot Authentication and Authorization Policies.
- Handle certificate management, PKI, renewals, and ISE CA.
- Troubleshoot RADIUS, TACACS+, 802.1X, MAB, and Web Authentication issues.
- Integrate Cisco ISE with Active Directory, LDAP, and MFA solutions.
- Perform ISE upgrades, patching, and change management activities.
- Support high availability, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
- Analyze logs, generate reports, and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
- Coordinate with Cisco TAC for critical incidents.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge management.
Required Skills
- 4–8 years of experience in Cisco ISE and Network Security.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco ISE 3.x (2.x also acceptable).
- Strong knowledge of Routing, Switching, and Firewall technologies.
- Good understanding of 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, and EAP protocols.
- Experience with PKI, Certificates, and Security Policies.
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
Preferred Certifications
- CCNP Security / CCIE Security
- CISSP / CEH
- Experience with Cisco DNA Center, SD-Access, Splunk, QRadar, or ISE APIs.
