Job Description: Sales Manager – Channel Sales & Key Accounts
Location:  Chennai ( Chennai candidate only )
Role Type: Full-time

Role Summary

We are looking for a result-oriented Sales Manager – Channel Sales & Key Accounts to drive sales of our networking and telecom product portfolio, including SFP modules, switches, GPON products, routers, wireless access points, passive networking material and related solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in channel sales, partner development, enterprise/ISP/TSP account management, and must be capable of bringing his/her own active customer relationships to generate business quickly.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive sales for Our products across ISP, TSP, enterprise, SI, government and channel partner segments.
  2. Develop, activate and manage channel partners, dealers, distributors and system integrators.
  3. Bring and convert existing customer accounts/relationships into active business opportunities.
  4. Identify new business opportunities for SFPs, switches, GPON, routers, wireless and passive products.
  5. Build monthly/quarterly sales pipeline and achieve assigned revenue targets.
  6. Conduct customer meetings, product presentations and commercial discussions.
  7. Coordinate with presales/technical teams for POCs, demos, solution design and technical closures.
  8. Work on tenders, RFQs, BOQs and partner-led opportunities.
  9. Maintain strong follow-up discipline for quotations, payments, delivery and repeat orders.
  10. Track competitor pricing, market movement and customer feedback.
  11. Ensure partner enablement through product training, pricing support and joint customer visits.
  12. Maintain CRM/ERP updates for leads, opportunities, quotations and sales forecast.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–10 years of sales experience in networking, telecom, IT hardware, ISP/TSP, enterprise or SI business.
  • Strong channel sales and partner management experience.
  • Existing customer relationships in ISP, TSP, enterprise, government, SI or telecom ecosystem.
  • Experience selling products like SFPs, switches, GPON, routers, wireless, cables, racks, passive networking material or similar IT/networking products.
  • Ability to independently generate leads and close business.
  • Good commercial negotiation and customer handling skills.
  • Understanding of BOQ, RFQ, tender and project-based sales.
  • Strong follow-up and reporting discipline.
  • Good communication skills in English and Hindi, Marathi preferred in Mumbai and tamil in Chennai
