
Position Details: Scrum Master
Description:
- Experience: 6-10 years in IT.

- 1. Jira
- Advanced Jira Administration: Proven capability in managing product and sprint backlogs, setting up sprints, tracking daily progress, and designing workflows.
- Metrics & Analytics: Expertise in generating and analyzing standard agile metrics (Velocity charts, Burndown/Burnup charts, Cumulative Flow diagrams, Control charts).
- Ad-hoc Extraction: Ability to extract, manipulate, and model Jira data for custom management reporting to assist in strategic decision-making.
- 2. Agile Delivery Framework
- Framework Agility: Deep understanding of both Scrum and Kanban methodologies, with the ability to tailor processes based on the team's delivery nature (e.g., product development vs. maintenance/support).
- Execution Tracking: Hands-on experience in tracking day-to-day sprint health, proactively identifying bottlenecks, and escalating delivery "red flags" to management with clear mitigation strategies.
- 3. Delivery Lifecycle & Roadmap Management
- Dependency Mapping: Strong understanding of how individual sprint tasks relate to broader project milestones and the overarching product roadmap.
- Spillover Management: Demonstrated capability in analyzing sprint spillovers, performing root-cause analysis on missed commitments, and updating release forecasts accordingly.
- 4. Stakeholder Alignment & Capacity Planning
- Expectation Management: Act as a bridge between engineering teams and clients/stakeholders to balance delivery expectations against realistic team throughput.
- Data-Driven Capacity Forecasting: Predict and manage internal team capacity based on historical velocity to protect team focus and absorb unforeseen priority changes.
- 5. Software Delivery Background (Refined)
- Software Engineering Foundation: Prior experience working directly within software development projects. A technical background (as a developer, QA engineer, or analyst) is highly valued to help understand architectural complexities, DevOps pipelines, and technical debt.
- 6. Facilitation & Team Coaching
- High-Impact Ceremonies: Mastery in facilitating engaging, Sprint Retrospectives, Reviews, and Planning sessions that result in concrete, actionable continuous-improvement items.
- Agile Coaching: Ability to coach both the development team and the Product Owner on Agile values, improving the quality of user stories and refining the team's Definition of Done (DoD).
