Position Details: Site Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced and dynamic professional for the position of Site Manager – Quality & Project Operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead quality inspection projects, manage customer interactions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the automotive manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise all inspection and project activities at the customer site.
• Lead and coordinate teams of supervisors and inspectors based on project requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding site operations and quality-related matters.
• Establish inspection standards, acceptance criteria, and sampling plans.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, firewall, safe launch, and final inspection activities.
• Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities and ensure effective implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Monitor project timelines and proactively escalate operational issues or delays.
• Ensure effective shop-floor management, including visual controls, material flow, and segregation of OK/NOK material.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and project documentation.
• Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
• Conduct team training and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of 8D Problem Solving, 5 Why Analysis, RCA, and CAPA.
• Experience in MSA (Measurement System Analysis) and SPC (Statistical Process Control).
• Customer complaint handling and closure management.
• Team management and workforce planning experience.
• Quality system knowledge (IATF 16949 / ISO Standards).
• Experience in inspection planning, safe launch activities, and containment actions.
• Proficiency in quality documentation and reporting.

Qualification & Experience:
• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or related discipline.
• 3–6+ years of experience in Automotive Quality, Inspection Management, or Site Operations.
• Experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers will be preferred.
